I would say as much of an incredible season ERod is having, Blueger's is just as amazing if not more. Blueger has done it with Anchor-Reese at his side.

I for one am not surprised at the eight game scoreless streak ERod is experiencing. I told you guys not to wake him.

P.S. Yes I'm taking credit for him breaking out of that slump tonight.

Teddy Blueger is a really good fourth line center. He’s a set it and forget it type of player.

Blueger is far more valuable. E rods only good when playing with Crosby, problem is the coach just can’t make things simple and play him with Crosby.

Pretty sure Erod was playing and producing well without Sid this season as well.

EDIT: he was. without Sid all of his underlying 5 on 5 numbers are better. I know you dont like the fancy stuff though...so I'm now trying to find his production without Sid.

Ok. Playing top six. Put him in Bluegers spot all year E lite rod becomes the 13th forward again. It’s not a knock on him. Just put him in a position to stay Elite rod.

Most of his production came on assisting for and by Kapanen. Second is Letang. Then it's pretty even all around.

We have a back to back Thursday/Friday against Seattle and Detroit, were DeSmith is going to have to start one. If we didn't have that I bet Sully would have put DeSmith in tonight.

No doubt certain players complement others well but I still think if a player is playing good they should still play and produce well anywhere in the lineup. If he's not in top 6 then he's usually getting lesser defensive matchups... To my eyes he hasnt looked as confident with puck and also a step slower the past few weeks. Maybe he's dealing with something nagging.

Yeah, but I'd still do it. Jarry needs a nice break. Giving DeSmith two games in a row isn't the worst idea considering they're playing AZ and SEA.

I'm not sure Sullivan was a big fan of McCann. Last season his average TOI/game dropped a full minute from the previous season. He was 11th among forwards in TOI/game. I doubt he would be clamoring for his return.
